Abuse or conflict?

Looking at the last point in the definition, it is clear that bullying is not just another type of conflict where two parties have different interests and clash against one another. Bullying comes in the same category as rape, incest or other incidents where the power ballance is clearly uneven. It must never be questioned that bullying is abuse. It should by no means be treated as a conflict with cnflict resolution strategies or mediation.

Trying to make the bullies and the bullied "come to terms" by having them meet and discuss what either party can do to make it stop, usually ends up in another round of abuse and humiliation for the bullied part, no matter how good the intentions of the adults who organize this are.
